Application

To apply for the license, you should create a SAW account. SAW opens as Secure Access Washington. Those residents who have a former experience of obtaining their driver/car, or business licenses, or have cooperated with the Revenue, Labor, or Employment Departments can already have a SAW account. The next thing you need is a UBI number. UBI stands for Unified Business Identification.

Moreover, to be qualified, the applicants must have a surety bond. The bond can range from $5,000 to $25,000.

Besides, applicants are to make the compulsory payment of $160 – $155 as the licensing fee, and $5 for printing.

Education and Training

There is no special education for future auctioneers. However, the higher the education level, the higher the salary will be in the future.

You may not be able to find online auction courses. However, there are still schools that give you what you need for the profession. The training will give you knowledge such as how to call bids, and deal with matters concerning law and real estate.

Renewal

Renewal, the same way as registration, is completed through the SAW account. It is also possible to fill in a renewal application form and send it to the mentioned mailing address.

However, to renew the permit, it is necessary to pay the fees. The renewal is $155. However, for any reason, if you fail to do it in time, there is a late fee of $255.

Salary

Generally, the lowest annual salary is $53,884. Anyway, it may differ based on a number of criteria.
